MINI RIG REMOTE INSTRUCTIONS
How to Use the Remote
Before setting up your remote, it’s helpful to know the lowest amperage your machine can reach with the remote connected.
A good way to check this is by using Mode 1, as it’s fixed from 0 to 100%. This isn’t required, but it can make the setup process smoother. Additionally, it’s a good idea to set your machine to the maximum amperage you plan to program into the remote before connecting the receiver. Your remote comes with 6 modes, 5 of which are fully customizable.
• Mode 1: Fixed at 0 to 100% and cannot be customized.
• Modes 2 to 6: Fully customizable to suit your specific needs. Setting Up a Mode 1. Enter Mode Menu
• Press and hold the black button on the side for about 10 seconds until the mode menu appears.
• You’ll see six modes listed. Select the mode you want to customize (Note: Mode 1 is fixed and cannot be modified). 2. Example Setup for a Lincoln Vantage
• For machines like the Lincoln Vantage, you may need separate setups for TIG and Stick modes, as the amperage range changes depending on the mode.
• Select a mode (e.g., Mode 2) by pressing the black button. This button acts as an “Enter” button throughout the process.
• Once inside the mode, choose the “MINI” option and set the minimum value (e.g., 20 for TIG). Select “OK.”
• Then choose the “MAXI” option and set the maximum value (e.g., 254 for TIG). Select “OK.”
• Press “Enter” to save and exit the mode customization menu.
• Repeat the process for Stick mode, selecting a new mode (e.g., Mode 3) and setting the appropriate minimum and maximum values for that mode. 3. Example Setup for a Miller Machine
• For Miller machines, the setup process is slightly different.
• Select a mode where you want to save this machine’s settings.
• Set the minimum value (e.g., 30–37) and select “OK.”
• Set the maximum value (e.g., 400) and select “OK.”
• Press “Enter” to save and exit. 4. Fine-Tuning the Miller Machine • Once your Miller machine is set up, adjust the remote to around 150 amps.
• You may notice the machine displays an amperage reading that is 10–20 amps off from what the remote shows.
• To match the readings, adjust the amperage on the machine by turning its knob until the machine matches the number displayed on the remote.
• Ensure you make this adjustment around 130–150 amps for accurate calibration.
5. Setup for Six Packs
• Setting up a six-pack setup is slightly different because some machines in the setup may not display amperage until you strike an arc, while others might
• To find your minimum and maximum values, you’ll need to identify a method to test the range of the machine. This might involve striking an arc to determine the lowest and highest amperage settings.
• Once you’ve determined the values, proceed to set up the remote as usual: • Select the mode where you want to save the settings.
• Enter the MINI option and set the minimum value. Select “OK.”
• Then choose the MAXI option and set the maximum value. Select “OK.”
• Press “Enter” to save and exit the customization menu. 6. Save and Activate
• After completing the setup, a blue light will appear on the remote. Turn the remote off and back on to finalize the settings. At first, this process may seem like a lot to take in, but after a couple of times, it’ll feel like second nature—a walk in the park. Every mode you set up is saved, so you can recall it anytime. This is perfect if you find yourself switching between machines like a Miller one day and a Vantage the next. Plus, if you ever need to make adjustments, modes can be re-customized at any time. The remote is built to adapt to your needs.

How does the sharpener work?
It starts spinning automatically when the tungsten touches the grinder disc, and it doesn’t require any batteries to operate.
Does the sharpener need lubricant?
We highly recommend using PTFE lubricant since other oils are too thick and can cause high friction, which adds resistance to the spinning.
What is the estimated delivery time?
We ship orders within 1 to 3 business days After that, delivery times depend on the shipping company
